New Logo for the game! Over the weekend and through the beginning of last week I spent time learning to use Affinity Designer 2 to create the logo for our game. With a lot of struggle and effort I was very happy with how it turned out! I wanted to have the color pallet and imagery the represented the sea while hinting at a lot of the symbolism that represents the story and the feeling of our game. Hopefully it hit those elements, I'll let you decide. Meanwhile, as mentioned in the previous post, our artists have started using the new event system. We’re beginning with smaller elements like doors, traps, and minor challenges to get some practice in. From there, we’ll gradually tackle more complex tasks. We’re excited to share everything we create and plan to show more in-progress work as well, so you can see the full journey from start to finish. Expect to see plenty of jank that evolves over time!
Lastly, in the coming weeks, we’re aiming to ramp up general interest in the game now that our website is live! We’ve been brainstorming ways to generate an audience, attract more eyeballs, and bring people into the Discord community. If you have any suggestions, we’re all ears—we read nearly everything posted in the channel. Even if we don’t always reply, rest assured we’re taking it all in!
